It’s over~ The election is over~

Well… without knowing it’s come for too long, it’s over…

Unlike in Taiwan or the States, the things that happen around election are pretty minimal. We had some debates, some rallies, some… i don’t know… stuff… But the scale of all those stuff is like electing a town major in other countries, I guess…

I am more involved in the functional election this year. Well I am not eligible to vote. But both candidates are my facebook friend. It seems to me that the one who’s lost is more welcomed by younger or more liberal IT generation while the one who won is more welcomed by the bosses and more conservative parties.

The winning candidate is my Secondary school senior. Am I supposed to be happy? :P

Well… I don’t know who’s better… I didn’t even check. I just feel, from the beginning, annoyed by the all those messages that get to my inbox related to the election. It’s ok to send a few… but not every week or every few days… (too much of anything is not good…)

Seriously, I only get to know the candidates once every 4 years. Probably when the candidates start carrying out their election campaign.

Is it my problem who don’t realized all the good they did? Or, is it the problem of the system?

I always feel that HK is more a follower than an innovator.

Other places have got science park. So, we should have one.

Other places have got logistic centre. So, we should strengthen that.

Other places have got government seed funding. So, we should set one up.

China motherland is doing olympic. So, we should do a mini one too~~

Sigh… it’s like Yahoo vs Google, Microsoft vs Apple, 香港電腦通訊節 vs HK barcamp … we are like Yahoo, Microsoft and … sigh… 香港影女節

What the heck we are doing?

We have the best banking system and most active financial industry. Why the IT industry here is so fucked up?

What do we lack?
