The Barcamp Hong Kong 2009 is marked to an end with a drinking party!

It’s great fun! I had one session on my own about going indie. The experience speaking to public is great. I always enjoy the time where people pay attention to listen to the delivery of my contents. Of course, I have to present fairly well in order to gain the attention and respect from the audiences.

Barcamp Hong Kong 2009 - Go Indie! (thanks bonnie for the pix :D)

The topic of my section is “Go Indie! Your alternative to running startup”.

I tried to argue that you should just go indie if you have any idea to create something or make changes. There’s just no need excuse saying you can’t find partners or you can’t find investors. Just do it on your own and let that lead you to other stuff.

There are many indie examples: Sofa group, Real mac software, Smile on my mac . Well, they are all Mac indie. :P But, yeah, the Mac ecosystem does have long history of indie culture. That’s also the beauty of the Mac platform. :)

I am not planning to put the slides up. Without my delivery, the slide itself is not meaningful anyway. :P But you can always check out my pics :)
